Halloween Fun

Wow it has been a long time since I have been on here things have been so busy since summer with Kelly here during the summer and with school starting and work the time has flown by. So we will start with a update for Halloween and I'll try to be better about updating.



This is the first year we have carved pumpkins for Kayla. She loved reaching inside and pulling out the seeds me and Kent had alot of fun carving them also I think they turned out pretty good for not having carved pumpkins for many years.


For Halloween every year I dress up at work and we have a contest this here is the costume for this year. It was a great choice no one expected from me. The pregnant nun you wouldn't believe how many times I got asked if I was really pregnant. Even Kent's sister thought I was pregnant. That was pretty classic since it have only been a few weeks since I had seen her last. For the record no I'm not pregnant.


Here's Kayla and I right before we went out trick or treating. Kayla was able to go trick or treating twice this year the first time on Thursday we went to Melaleuca where Torey work they have a big trick or treat event every department decorates and dresses up with different themes it was a lot of fun you would not believe how much they do and all the candy they give out.

Blast Off!!

On Wednesday we all went to blast off to play laser tag, While everyone else played I didn't have anything to do with Kayla so I couldn't play she got to play in the play land. once she warmed up and started figuring things out she has a blast.





One, Two, Three... Jump!


Ok so Kayla was too chicken to jump so she slid.


Shes so short she almost drowned in all of the balls.


For those of you who don't know my boyfriend Kent's daughter Kelly is down for the summer from Alaska to live with us, She just arrived Saturday and Kayla took right to her after she got jealous over Kent staking her claim! While Kelly was hugging Kent, Kayla walked over to Kent grabbed his leg and said NO! MINE! It was cute Shes not use to any other kids hugging on her Kent. But after that she clung right to Kelly right before I took this picture she climbed up on Kelly's lap and leaned in to cuddle with her. But it didn't last long enough to get a picture of it. I'm glad she warmed right up to Kelly!

Ridem Cowgirl!

Grandpa and Torey took Kayla to Preston the the horse races while they worked. While they were there she met cousin Jake and he took Kayla for her first horse ride. I'm sad I missed it but from the sounds of it she had a blast running around and growling at the horses, and hanging out with Grandpa and Torey.

Suprise!

I walked into Kayla's room yesterday after she woke up from her nap to find this!

Kayla naked in her crib, I promise she was clothed when I put her down for her nap. She must have got bored and decided to strip off all her clothes diaper and all. Her coat was hanging on the corner of her bed and she put it on and was playing in there happy as a clam when I walked in. All I can say is if shes going to start stripping Shes getting potty trained!

Big Girl Bed!

Kayla got her first big girl bed on last Wednesday she loves it she played on it all day. It was so cute to see her excited about her bed. She has yet to sleep in it though but we are going to start making that transition next week. I tried to get her to take a nap in it but wanted her crib instead so very soon the crib has to go! Scary she will have more freedom though hopefully she will go to sleep as good as she has in her crib.

Easter

The easter bunny made a visit at our house here are a few pictures. Even though Kayla is sick with influenza she still enjoyed everything she got.

Of course Kayla first went for the chocolate bunny And then her chalk she wanted to play with it so bad but I didn't want to take her outside still being sick but we are going to try to tomorrow. Kayla wore her glasses around half the day she loved them.

We had a great easter even though we were stuck at home all day and weren't able to spend time with family like we had planned. Not wanting to get anyone else sick. We hope every one else had a happy easter also.

Easter Bunny

Kayla went to see the easter bunny yesterday with the daycare they took pictures at sears She wasn't very happy about it even though Debbie put on the bunny suit to make it easier for the kids to sit on the easter bunnies lap. She may look sad but its still cute.

I forgot to put this pic up with the others last time isn't it cute! I see thins look many times a day when shes trying to act all innocent.
